[svlug] long shot HD question

hi,

I am having trouble mounting an Acomdata hd250FE5-72 external hard drive
using Belkin 1394 9 pin to 4 pin cable.  That cable is proven good because I
just captured video with it moments before switching the cable to the
Acomdata drive.  The drive is also known to be good because I am able to
access it under Gutsy with a 1394 9 pin to 9 pin cable.  The problem is that
while Gutsy auto mounts it with the 9 to 9 cable, Hardy can't seem to mount
it with the 9 to 4 cable.

Below are the various different drives and their partitions in this 16 drive
machine.  Each of the machines is a one-TB drive.  Maybe burried in here
somewhere is the acomdata drive, although I don't think so.  The really odd
thing is that I am sure that Hardy is talking to this drive, because when I
turn on the drive with Hardy already on and the 9 to 4 cable connected, I
see the Acomdata light flash, so Hardy most certainly knows it is there.
