Strictly rhetorical question:  What about ssh is particularly insecure? 
Would you be using it in some notably reckless fashion?

Christian, I'm betting that a whole lot of people on this mailing list
would gladly help you learn the ropes of *ix networking, preferably
after you've studied appropriate foundational texts such as the one Mark
Weisler recommended.  That really ought to be your next step -- or, as
Tom Pilot says, hire someone.
