[svlug] Installfest March 17

Thanks to David Eisenberg of Evergreen Valley College, EVC and SVLUG
will be holding regular monthly Installfests jointly, starting on
March 17, 2008 at 11 am, and continuing to 4 pm as usual. (We thought
about the 24th, but that is Memorial Day weekend, when many people
have other plans.) We will meet in room RF-241 of the Roble building
on the west side of campus.

Evergreen Valley College is in southeast San Jose, nearest to the
Yerba Buena exit from Highway 101. Paid parking is enforced every day.
You can buy one-day parking permits from the machines in the parking
lot at $2 each. If you don't mind walking, there is free parking in
the semi-paved area across from student lot 3.

It is important to read and follow these directions. Campus police and
San Jose police will tow cars that are not parked according to the
rules.

So bring your computers, your Linux distros and other software of
interest, and your problems. We will have the recently released Ubuntu
8.04, Hardy Heron install CD and OLPC XO Live CDs, among others. See
you then.
