I always have a chuckle when I get deep enough into my cable bin to
hit the old 10mbit hub (which could still be useful in case of
emergency!) and the transceiver (which would _not_ be useful, unless
the emergency was a sparcstation falling on me - in which case, just
as you would, I'll need that hub and it's coax connector to jury-rig a
network for it).

What's frustrating is never finding the thing I _do_ need when I'm
finding those things :-).
