[svlug] problems with headsets under Gutsy and PClinuxOS.

Yeah, I can see that I am going to have to do a little work to get this
headset working on Gutsy at least.  I will get back to this list when I get
a solution, and I will also post to the Ubuntu forum when i solve it.
