[svlug] Suggestions for a Linux laptop?

Hmmm..... sounds like I need to try to convince one of the users in the office
to assist me in "advancing science" ....
One thing I noticed the video chip on one of them is a 915GM from Intel.
Surely there must be a way to expand resolution when going to a screen that
has a higher ability.
