[svlug] Suggestions for a Linux laptop?

The ultimate in light and cheap would be the EeePC from Asus.  It can run OOo 
and it does output to a larger CRT monitor/LCD monitor/projector.  As for the 
default distro it's Xandros (a deb variant) but Xubuntu has alread been 
ported to it.  I've seen it convert 3 diehard windows people in my office 
with sore shoulders from carrying a <sarcasm>50lb</sarcasm>  Vista luggable.

I wouldn't want to use to to create an extremely complicated presentation 
(unless you used an external monitor) but for a "put it on this SD and go" 
system it really is nice.
