I started my Google calendar because the BALE calendar was buggy and
out of date and didn't seem to be actively maintained, and I felt
Google's toolset met the needs better.  I've not been monitoring
recent events with BALE, has it been fixed?

I think major events in the OS world like that are suitable for the
calendar, but for regular monthly things I would prefer to keep it
Linux-specific.
