Hi - After last Saturday's successful Installfest for Schools, we again
need people to help out at the 2nd Installfest for Schools, this
Saturday. Can you assist???  Thanks.   :)

Event- 080308 Saturday 10AM - Installfest for Schools 2 - Old PCs
Refurbishing Party

Inspired by talks at regular meetings, Ben has convinced his work place
to donate their old or non-working PCs to resource limited local
schools. You can read all the details in this forum thread.
The only catch (and what a cool one!) is that we need all the geeks with
experience fixing hardware and installing Linux on under-powered
machines to join, take the pile of PCs and fix them! The school is even
offering us pizzas and soft drinks to do it. What a great opportunity to
test your install skills, have fun and do something helpful for our
local community at the same time!
