[svlug] Any recommendations for a USB-serial dongle which will work on Ubuntu?

I found one that works just fine in Central Computer.

I looked at it just a few minutes ago and, unfortunately, it has
almost zero markings on it and I no longer have the "blister
pack" that it came in.

I can say that it's black and not much bigger than a USB memory
stick and it just has a DB9 on one end.

I plugged it in and it worked just find on the first try on both
a windoze and a linux box.
