You can use google for that, too; see the second bullet on

BTW, gmail is in my mail system email ping/heartbeat list, (as are
many other ISPs,) and seems to be one of the most reliable on the
Internet. Yahoo is good, too, but not quite as good as google. Most of
the major play-for-pay ISP services are really very poor, (like off by
an order of magnitude in reliability, accessibility, and, speed.)
