Correction: OVC was once working on getting Linux on a Diebold voting
machine, but gave it up as a bad job. You can see their final verdict

A Live CD of the Open Voting Consortium's Free voting software will
soon be available. It is written in Python, and the Live CD will run
it on Ubuntu Linux. I will submit it for inclusion in the OLPC
software library.
