The more software platforms you have running, the more possible sales.  Put
another way, they can't sell anything to anyone needing windoze.

The project  is about nothing if the manufacturer can't  get the numbers
needed to make a profit.  Once that is assured, I have faith that the
Negroponte and the XO people can make it work.
