As it turns out, I am still using openSUSE 10.2 on the school's Zareason
box, simply because we didn't have enough time yesterday to install 10.3.
And we also used VirtualBox, simply because we tried to use kvm, and it
didn't quite work. Ben Floering will have to give the details of the
struggle with kvm, because it was my first time seeing any kind of vm
install, and so I wasn't really able to grok all the details just yet. I
will eventually come up to speed, but I still have a learning curve ahead of
me.
In the end, we chose VirtualBox simply because Daniel Gimpelevich had some
familiarity with it, and so Daniel and Ben were able to crank out the
Virtual Box install in record time. So thanks once again to them for that !
