Hi,

Well, today I did some searching and came up with something that looks 
promising for Chinese input under Linux using pinyin:

   SCIM  www.scim-im.org

so I am trying to install it now.

Now, if only mke2fs did not insist on malloc'ing 256MB or more when you 
are trying to create a FS > 2TiB. In a small footprint system that causes 
big problems.
