That is one example of what Munich Mayor Christian Ude was referring to when
he spoke of expensing the cost of monopoly.  The reason that you have to do
that is because Microsoft has a monopoly.

Again, that is because Microsoft has a monopoly.  My primary objection to
Microsoft is that it is a monopoly that is taking away our freedom.  All I
am asking for is a free market.  In fact, the Mayor of Munich makes that
point, too.  He says, "Wir sind Freunde der Marktwirdschaft", meaning "we
are friends of the free market.  That is all I am asking for.

Another hallmark of the Microsoft monopoly.  That is exactly what we are
working for, Tri.  We are working for the day when the GNU Linux install
base is large enough that there is a truly free market.  Currently, that
market is broken.
