Kristian, Rick is just crusty, but he has a heart of gold.  You will get
familiar with his crustiness, and it will just wash off your back
eventually.  Rick gives a lot to the Bay Area FOSS community.  For example,
for years and years, he has opened his home to the bi-weekly CABAL
(Coalition of All Bay Area Lugs) meeting, where he cooks food, and then has
to clean up his house afterward.
