The use of jigdo in these cases is to grab bits of the iso file(s) 
efficiently from different sources. The apt-torrent approach is for 
individual packages though. The current implementation of apt-torrent is 
running off the dev's DSL connection with Debian packages. I wonder how 
much work is involved in re-purposing it to spew Ubuntu packages.
I'll have to try it out sometime...work gets in the way of everything else!
