Indeed the floodgates will open tomorrow, but what if the packages could 
be apt-get (got?) over bit torrent? The packages are all 
cryptographically signed, so if I get bits from all over the place, and 
it still matches the signatures, I should be fine. The closest thing I 
found on running apt-get on top of bit torrent is aptly named (pun very 
much intended) apt-torrent and is available at http://sianka.free.fr/
