[svlug] Can someone recommend a Linux supporting PCI wirelesscard?

I just bought an Airlink101 "802.11g Wireless PCI Adapter" at Fry's.
The model number is AWLH3026T. It is based on the RaLink RT2561/RT61 chipset, which has a native linux driver available for
download: http://www.ralinktech.com/ralink/Home/Support/Linux.html
You can probably buy any other card based on that chipset (maybe even another chipset of the same manufacturer) and it should work
the same way.
I was able to compile and install the thing relatively easily under CentOS 5, which is more or less the same as Fedora.

I do not have all the exact steps any more, but I did it based on this doc:
http://www.cyberciti.biz/tips/linux-install-and-configure-dlink-dwl-g-520-wireless-lan-pci-card.html
Make sure to read the comments if you get stuck, because there are some valuable tips there as well.
I could not get the compiled module to load right away, but I googled the error and found a solution.
I will have to do the same thing again on another machine in the next two weeks, so I will post a step-by-step once I get to that.

These two might help as well:
