[svlug] centos 5 and virtual server 2005

I've been trying to get centOS 5 installed in Virtual Server 2005 and from
the posts I've read its not compatible with 24 bit.  I've tried using 'linux
depth=16' , 'linux resolution=800x600' but it keeps wanting to set the
screen size to 1600x600 and distort the text.  Does anyone have a solution ?
I'm too the point of just trying to create a dual boot with XP Pro on my
laptop but I need to find directions on how to do that without trashing XP.
