+1 for the Brother HL-5140, although mine only has USB and parallel
ports.  (The manual says there's an optional network print server
(NC-2100p) that connects via the printer's parallel port.  Is that the
case with yours?

In any case, it's a great, inexpensive, B&W laser printer.  I bought
it a couple years ago specifically to work  with Linux.  I do
occasional printing with it and I'm still on its original toner
cartridge.  Works beautifully with Linux and Mac.
