Sounds very similar to what was happening on a Dell PowerEdge server at
the last LUGOD installfest, except there it was the Ubuntu install that
was having that problem. Soon it was confirmed that a proximate cause was
a bad install CD. However, netboot/netinstall efforts stalled also, and as
a result, the RAM became suspect.
