[svlug] good cheap Linux-compatible printer?

Okay, I guess we know you don't like Epsons. Whatever. I've liked my
two Epsons quite a bit.

Well, it's a bit hard to type with my head stuck in the sand
like this, but ...  What inexpensive color laser printer prints
photographs that look like photographs?  I can't see being very
happy with photos printed on a monochrome laser printer at 600dpi.
When I google I'm seeing a few models touted as "Under $300!" which
is three times what I paid for my Epson (and no, I haven't spent
enough on ink to come anywhere close to making up the difference).
