Hi Mark.
In your setup, for each machine, do you have a list on each machine where
you define the dns server/ip that the machine is going to use to look up ip
addreses?
is this a completely new setup? if not, did your other network have the
ability to access the external internet sites..

Subject: [svlug] Network broken?
Hi,
I have recently added a new workstation to my home network and installed
FC6. I am quite puzzled with the network behavior of this host, as it does
not seem to resolve any external sites, yet is perfectly able to connect to
my internal hosts (I am running apache on another FC5 host and a Mac OS X
host within the local subnet.) Anyone willing to provide clues to areas of
investigation? I am obtaining IP from DHCP served by a Netgear router
running off my Comcast cable modem.
Thanks,
Mark
