ext3cow looks promising but do these bugs or the
kernel make it  iffy on my multi boot madneess, now
adding a vm on a 64x2 to support my w98 legacies.

This would fix the problem I had tricking out PARDUS
2007.1 and now I can't get KDE back, other distro get
mangled doing kworldclock on dialup too; by just
rolling back cheaply. I mention this on my
http://www.googlepages.com under PARDUS after the
social reform stuff.

Discovering and loading the drivers into my vmware
player looks annoying. Does anyone have a good
starting guest image for windows 98 legacies that I
can get at easily despite flaky bandwidth? Anybody
know about a vm for PARDUS 2007.1?
