This morning during update the system died. Maybe it just wasn't
responding to the keyboard, whatever, I started a new reinstall with
normal harddrive partitioning.

Interestingly, when I started the new reinstall, it recognized the
Fedora 7 installation from last night, even though it wouldn't
recognize the Fedora 6.
