[svlug] iTunes on Linux Firefox?

Hey all,

I am working on a site that lets members create 
libraries of podcasts. But when I try to access 
some on my Debian Firefox install I get

"itpc is not a registered protocol" in a JS type 
popup.

I then found via google:

"(...you should install iTunes, except you can't 
if you're running Debian, because Apple will not 
port iTunes to GNU/Linux)"

Is this still the case? Is there now way for me to 
access iTunes on this machine?

It's not a tragedy, I have a Windows machine here 
on a KVM for testing on IE, but if I could get it 
working on my L'il Debbie it would be nice.
