I tend to doubt that. The pointer is orthogonal to the question:
Q: Does anyone know where I can find MySQL RPMs >= 4.0.14 for RH9?
A: Dump RH9.
I don't see how any amount of elaboration on my part will make that
answer any more useful. Still - here goes:
On this legacy system there is at least one piece of software that I
depend on that will not run on a more modern kernel/glibc/whatever
system. Until I am able to smoothly migrate off of this software, the OS
is stuck at RH9.
On this same system I need to update MySQL from the 3.23.x already there
to 4.0.14 or newer. I'd prefer to do this via RPM rather than from
source. I find it difficult to believe that nobody has ever created such
a RPM, so I'm trying to hunt it down.
