For _all possible bootloaders_?  I don't think so.  (You didn't even say
which one you use.)

Whichever one you use (e.g., GRUB, lilo), you should make a point of 
understanding how to re-do it if/when it get messed up.  If you don't
yet know how to do that, make a point of learning before migrating to
new hard drives.

Huh?  You appear to be confused.  I said nothing about installing Slackware.
