In 2008 you should be able to buy the OLPC laptop for about $300. It
runs their version of Fedora Rawhide, using Linux BIOS and only Free
drivers. The processor is an extremely low-power AMD Geode.

I'm looking forward to that.  It'll be a lot easier to lug around to poetry
readings than the box of paper copies I have now, and it'll be a lot easier
to search for whatever piece I want to read.

And I'll probably find other uses for it as well.
