putty is yer basic terminal type program for
Windows. I've used it a lot at client sites when I
need to hit a server. Quick to download and get
running. Nothing for a gui-oriented person to be
using.

Yeah, I've been meaning to get up on Subversion.
Maybe this is the right time.
I think we'll go with Samba for now.
