Maybe my printing setup notes, at "Printing Setup" on
http://linuxmafia.com/kb/Debian/ , might (with luck) be of some help to 
you, as they were before?

You'll obviously want to ignore the writeup's bits about doing _printer_ setup:
Basically, you just want to reach the other (Xubuntu) machine's spooler
using IPP protocol.
