I'm afraid it doesn't work that way.

This is your group, and it clearly has volunteer/leadership issues.
You pay no dues, you get a lot of free and through no work from you, but
this is the one time when it is your duty to get involved.
And by that, I mean all of you.

Either you volunteer to help as a volunteer under the current
administration, you offer to run and get people to vote for you, or you find
someone willing to run, and vote for them.
This isn't the US elections with cheating voting machines, and an electoral
college that washes out your vote, YOU can make a difference. If you care,
do something!
