This was before we were doing kernel walkthru's with said videos getting
over 12,000 hits per month - I'm sure the click-thru's from the video have
bumped our recent numbers significantly.
Also, though it's been a long time coming, once the Wiki's up I expect quite
a bit more website traffic.
And there's been talk in the kernel group about installing GLOBAL -
http://www.gnu.org/software/global/ - and feeding a bunch of relevant
versions of the kernel source into it - that would probably increase hits
substantially as well.
Dial-up's probably not something we want to consider going forward
in light of the above and other efforts. ...But that's just my opinion - not
a Presidential edict.
