If it's a core competency, then why is no one grabbing the proverbial
ball and running with it? This isn't a rhetorical question. I am
seriously asking.

I think that we've beaten this part the conversation as dead as we
can. If you want things to change, then feel free to volunteer effort
in addition to your words.
