Quoting Alvin Oga (alvin at mail.Linux-Consulting.com):

Reminder: the Web Team mailing list is web-team at lists.svlug.org , not
svlug at lists.svlug.org .

To the best of my ability to tell, you are in error in your fundamental
assumption. I believe you'll find that everything's still present and
linked, and have misinterpreted (in part) the fact that some pages
(especially the "past votes and presidents' terms") now have .php
filename-extension URLs that used to be .shtml . Of course, I'm not
ruling out the possibility that some page that formerly existed either
was gone by the time I started repairing and updating the site, or that
it was there and I missed it, or it was there but was either merged into
something else entirely or partly merged and partly discarded as
pointless (e.g., the explanation of multiple past policy changes about
jobs posts here).

http://www.svlug.org/maillist/ used to exist as a page that housed
basically nothing more than descriptions of some but not all of the
mailing lists. It was eliminated entirely, after discussion, as
redundant to http://lists.svlug.org/lists/listinfo/ , as part of an
effort to make our pages about mailing lists less of a rats-nest
exercise in logorrhoea.

This assumes, first, that things are missing, and, second, that we're
still willing to continute to work hard to prop up the Reiber
administration despite his interference in our substantive work. As
mentioned, I got fed up with that man mucking around with and damaging
my work.

Your assertion that something has gone missing here is, for reasons
explained separately, completely wrong -- except for the deliberately
jettisoned "Yes, we used to allow jobs on svlug at lists.svlug.org via
submission to the Officers alias, but then we didn't, and here are a
bunch of reasons why we changed policy each time" [blah blah blah[.

You are in error about where "new policy" (which is in fact not "new",
but is the same policy) landed. Please see separately posted
explanation, and please see existing contents on the SVLUG Mailing Lists
Netiquette page and individual listinfo pages.
