Hmm, if you put them there when you did the SHTML to PHP conversion, you
_might_ have inadvertantly broken some links from the SVLUG News
cumulative page that I manually repaired earlier. However, I actually
suspect not, and suspect that you'll find the links _are_ there,
perfectly fine, converted to corresponding .php URLs.

Alvin's point that there should always be redirects from old URLs to
their replacements is such a good one that you may recall my _saying_ it
to you immediately when you proposed and carried out the PHP conversion. ;->

By the way, I notice that Alvin started out this thread with "Hiya, Web
Team." Oddly enough, this is _not_ the Web Team mailing list, which in
fact is (surprisingly enough) web-team at lists.svlug.org , not
svlug at lists.svlug.org .

The Web Team mailing list was briefly but reversibly injured on
Saturday, November 24, around 8 PM when Paul Reiber unilaterally removed
about half its membership via the Mailman admin interface, without
consulting or informing anyone including (most notably) the Web Team.
However, I repaired this damage the next day.
