I am an extreme Google fanatic, and even though I admitted to Warren
today that "I would marry Google if it were a woman", I totally agree
with Rick here. Participation in the SVLUG organization should not
require a Google account. It should be a choice of the user. I
particularly enjoy how productive Google allows me to be, but it is
not our place to put such burdens on anyone else.
Everyone is getting very uptight on this list though. Of all the FOSS
lists I have participated in or run myself, this has been the longest
ongoing spark of political problems I have ever seen. Now, just take
a deep breath and remember that we're all here to be both student and
teacher. All of this is just for fun :-)
