I have "opened" the document, but _editing_ it requires signing up for an
account for Google Docs and other Google services, which for reasons of
personal policy favouring Linux and open source I do not have: I do not
consent to Google's terms of service for "accounts", and think it
extremely inappropriate for a Linux user group to outsource any of its
operations to proprietary third-party-hosted software.

I would like to participate in the bylaws committee, but you have made
signup contingent on having an "account" with Google, which I decline to
do.
_This_ medium, on the other hand, uses open source software and is run
by SVLUG itself, so:
Name: Rick Moen
Best day of the week to meet: any, except 2nd/4th Saturday 4pm to midnight
E-mail address: rick at linuxmafia.com
I also strongly suggest that NONE of SVLUG's operations _ever_ be run out
of Google Docs or any other hosted third-party proprietary services.
