The main problem with an existing organization turning
itself into a California religious corporation is that
many existing members might interpret Exodus 20:3-4
and similar verses in other texts as not allowing
them to stay in.

I'm no longer involved with the religious corporation
idea, but I still think it would be useful for people
who have an ethical objection to non-free software,
to help in their self-defense against bureaucrats
who want to impose things on them.
