It's inappropriate for the president to attempt to put his choice in
place by decree, than (when that doesn't work) attempt to stack the deck
by asserting that he can appoint that same guy "interim VP", and then
hold a special election on a mere six days' notice.  I call foul.

Warren, for your own sake, I hope you will insist that such an election
cannot properly be held, and that legitimacy requires no less than 
30 days' opportunity for other candidates.  This may be the way Paul saw
things done in Venezuela, but cramming El Presidente's favourite guy
through deliberately rushed elections doesn't fly, here.
