As long as we're talking about the SCO case, I've
noticed some improvements in the Mainstream IT Media
based on things that people learned from SCO.

As Rick pointed out at the picnic today, one of the
factors that made SCO the kind of opponent that he
would want to face was the fact that they lacked
a case, had a relatively small budget, but had a
high-profile PR operation.
You have to give the credit for that to SCO's PR guy,
Blake Stowell, who kept SCO in the news a lot longer
than the facts or the law justified. ("Your honor,
I move that we try this case in the media.")
