Not really. I, for one, don't know who or what to believe at this
point. Various accusations have been thrown back and forth, and, beyond
this this list (and a few off-list via-email asides that have been
friendly and positive), I don't personally know any of the people
involved. My guess would be that that's the case for most people
lurking and not participating in the discussion.
While I won't try to speak for everyone, some of us are here to hear
about Linux/computing-related news, ask technical questions, help out
when we can when others have technical questions, etc. I don't care
about the politics. I don't care about contention over who "owns" the
picnic, the domain names, the mailing lists, the servers, etc. I
understand and respect that some people on this list do, the S/N ratio
of this list is just ridiculously low because of these threads, and it's
disappointing.
Anyhow, I fear I'm merely contributing to the noise, so I'll try to keep
quiet on this topic from now on...
