... Stop with the personal attacks. The Picnic funds have always been
kept separate from everything else. I lobbied for this and that is what
happened as far as I know.

>> SBAY organizes it....

The people who organized it before are organizing it again. Doesn't
matter what they call themselves as long as it works.

What a bunch of bullshit. I minimized my interactions with either party
because to me this is not a political matter as much as you want to make
it. And look. The picnic happened. And it was fun. Minus all of the
political crap that not everyone had to deal with. Do not accuse me of
something that I did not do/say because frankly at this point I just don't
care. Why don't you stop making other people have this negative crap
associated with the picnic?

Yes, you should practice this.

> Next year, I think the Bay Area's Linux user groups should hold one, too.

whoever wants to throw a picnic should. I'm not saying that they
shouldn't. It doesn't matter who throws what, and there are millions of
people in this area and plenty of opportunities. Hell, throw one every
other week during the summer and have a lot of fun. It would be great.
Just don't bring another event down to build up your own event. It's
like trying to make yourself look better by putting someone else down.
