[svlug] Please come to our CodeCamp Event 10/7 and 10/8. Need more non microsoft guys

During the past year, I've presented at several CodeCamps around the
country. They are basically weekend events hosted by all volunteers and
presentations by volunteers.  Microsoft is really the title sponsor
providing things like insurance and other things but it's completely
controlled by the Community (I'm in charge of this one).  We've got
several ruby, python and other presentations already (31 presentations,
660 attendees signed up).

 

It would be great to have more participation from the linux community.
I've only been to a couple linux meetings around here but it seems like

Presentations on mysql, realtime linux, php, etc. would be great.  You
don't really need much experience presenting to come and do something.
It's a very relaxed environment.  Foothill College has donated the usage
of the facility for the weekend and Microsoft is paying for dinner
Saturday.
