Here is another useful resource:

Bastille Linux [ www.bastille-linux.org/ ] is a perl script for OS hardening.
It is available for a number of front line linux distributions - RH, SuSE,
Debian, Gentoo etc. plus HP-UX and work on OS X port is in progress.
