part of the fun ... to see that raid still works like it should

but again, since its on the same pc as svlug.org to minimize
porting disk around problems ... svlug.org will go down for a few hours

so for the svlug-addicts... please prepare for some cold turkey
later tonight

please do ...

in the meantime ... i "have to" continue to clean up the existing
svlug.org machine since it sits on our corp lan

	- some basic elementary things not functioning makes us nervous
but i agree that the machine itself is well maintained
from the view that it survived for 5 yrs without much incidents

or some major objections in the list ... from the "doers" that wil
do all the work needed

for mirroring or colo hosting .. via.net agree'd to host it fro free
too so, the machine that is here will 100% likely move to via.nt
colo space when we can change the ip# in the dns

	- the next group of officers can decide what to do
with the giantic mechanical klunker later

nah ... most all donations we made have disappeared into people's homes
instead of its intended purpose

some donations are still worthwhile .. but those are on case-by-case basis

sticking in 2x 300GB into svlug box is a no-brainer as long as its
used for the something.svlug.org server .. a pre-condition
