[svlug] Test for SSL on Apache?

Hey all,

I am trying to install an SSL certificate for a 
site on a server, but having some issues, and I 
thought the first thing I should do is make sure 
SSL is enabled in the web server.

Apache was installed on this machine by a guy who 
is no longer here, so I am not certain SSL was 
enabled when it was set up.

1) How can I check for SSL being enabled, and

2) If it is not, do I need to re-install Apache 
from the start?
