do-acracry implies:
- people are given chances to do things that needs to
be done ...
- and that those volunteered time/efforts does not go to waste
by other "parental controls"
sometimes there's little difference between do-acracy and dictatorships
"parental controls" is always a good thing to prevent things from
going haywire .. every entity has it ( aka board, directors, advisors,
rules, policies, whatever you wanna call ) ... when you have a group,
you cannot avoid not having rules to play by

why wait.... it's already there ...

that's been ongoing for 2years or more from what i can remember
it's the classis 90% - 10% rule
where 90% is done in 10% of the time
but the remaining 10% of work requires 90% of the thinking
and organization and fixup to finalize and make it useful
due to the longevity of its inactive state, i say let others
implement the new svlug website stuff in whatever tools
the new maintainers want to use .. that should be nickel-a-dozen
by todays gazillion ways to maintain one website

does that mean some of svlug machines are running on ubuntu

does that mean 3rd sat installfest at google is moving to ricks house ??
does that mean 2nd and 4th cabal meetings at ricks house is moving
to google ???
it's an extreme bad idea to "consolidate" different purposes
and venues .. and your net result is no new people or volunteers ...
